To My Friends,
When I sold books door-to-door, they told us to surround ourselves by the people we want to be. So, if you wanted to be a high school drop out, hang out with other high school drop-outs. If you wanted to be successful, hang out with successful people. I want to be a successful, compassionate, caring person that people know they can count on. I’m not sure where I am in that goal, but I try to stick with those I admire. So, this is a tribute to those whom I call friend.
You’re my friend because:
- You make me laugh,
- You are intelligent,
- You are compassionate,
- You listen, really well,
- You juggle various roles,
- You are humble about your accomplishments,
- You have a colorful, beautiful story,
- You are thoughtful, and
- You make me want to be a better person.
Thank you for being my friend.
