All the kids I knew who went to MLC were total weirdos or had "special needs," and since it's student-directed learning, if the kid didn't feel like making any effort at school, they didn't have to, and as a result, was able to do LITERALLY NOTHING all day, every day, if they wanted to. I also knew several kids who were homeschooled, and they might as well have painted a sign on their backs that said "socially inept." Bad news, seriously. Don't put him through that crap. Don’t send him to MLC or homeschool him.
